Flint River Clearing 2009 Part II

During the last several days the Flint River dropped 3.5 feet, which put it back to the same water level as our previous clearing project on this river section, back in March 2009.

Coosawattee River Winter Paddle

The Coosawattee River is formed at the junction of the Ellijay and Cartecay Rivers just north of Ellijay. The Coosawattee is really two rivers: the lively section upstream of Carter’s Lake, and the flat (but still quick) section below the lake. (more…)
